    Laptop Shopping...

    Hey you computer genius' out there, my wife has decided that she needs a new laptop even though we managed to get the old one sorted out and added the proper virus/malware software. I'm not up on the latest and greatest, so I defer to you guys. Here's one that she's looking at...I suspect that there are better processors out there. But is this a good basic laptop for the casual user? Thanks in advance...

    That's not bad...what's the price on it? If it's not around $400, it's not worth it.

    There are incredible deals everywhere for laptops.

          Would you mind recommending a few places to find these deals? We're also going to be looking for a new one soon. Not surprisingly, the refurbed Gateway we got 2 years ago just isn't holding up well.

                  That's how good it was. Lenovo seems to be clearing stock. It seems each week I come across a similarly configured Lenovo for <$400 but you have to move quickly.

                    Ain't that the truth...these things FLY out of the warehouses. Mow my lovely bride tells me that she HAS to have something with an i5 processor...I have no idea why, but that's what she wants. Any ideas in that direction?
