    YTD: 13-9-1

Jacksonville +13. I have a hard time spotting this Steeler team almost 2 touchdowns.

Washington +1.5. Philly playing consecutive road games, and Washington coming off a bye.

Detroit -4.5. I'm more sold on Detroit being 5-0 than San Fran being 4-1, at 4.5 points I'll take Detroit at home.

Giants -3.5. Me thinks the Bills get exposed at some point and this seems like a prime spot.

Indy +7. Indy has been strangely competitive of late, I'll roll the dice here.

I started playing a parley with a friend every week now. Last week I went 4-1...missed only the TB/SF game.

So here's my picks and why...just as a reference:

GREEN BAY 14.5 St. Louis Rams - Took St Louis.....my parley actually had 16 pts...this is too many points to spot a team. The Packers have only blew out one team by more than 2 tds.

PITTSBURGH 13 Jacksonville - Took Pittsburgh as they have destroyed their opponents at home so far this year and the Jags have scored 59 points in 5 games.

Philadelphia 1.5 WASHINGTON - Took Philly and -1 in my parley....Philly HAS to win....no other reason.

ATLANTA 4 Carolina - Took Atlanta....thet're due for a big win after the Sunday night loss.

OAKLAND7 Cleveland - Browns have no offense and the Raiders in their house....yeah, I'm betting against the Browns.

New Orleans 4 TAMPA BAY - TB sucks....New Orleans does not.....should easily cover.

        Some people never learn.

Gris, as I said before, never bet on Philly before the bye, even in non-disaster years. Reid never gets his act together until after the bye.

Not sure how I stack up for the year.

Rams - Pack win by 14
WASHINGTON - I can see the panic in Philly now...
ATLANTA - I usually don't get involved in divisional matchups, but Atlanta wins by more than a FG. At worst, this is a push.
CINCINNATI - Every time I've picked the Colts this year, I've been burned. Cincy's D has looked really good and its a perfect week for Painter to throw his first pick of the season.
Houston - Losing Mario Williams and Andre Johnson hurts, but that Arian Foster fellow could keep things interesting.
OAKLAND - Oakland 48, Cleveland 17 - Michael Bush has a career day b/c McFadden gets hurt on the 3rd play from scrimmage.

          Finished 2-3-1 this week.

"Igor, would you give me a hand with the bags?"
"Certainly. You take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban!"

The more knowledgable of us were well beyond freakout mode into "appreciate the comedy" mode.

In any case, thanks to the Bad Rex for showing up.

2-1-1 not the best but still making money.
