    Jeremy Maclin is active
According to FOX Sports' John Czarnecki, "it sounds like (Frank) Gore will be inactive due to a bad ankle."
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

Looks like a long year for Mark Ingram owners...twice the Saints have 1st and goal at the one, and twice they give it to someone else. First time to the fullback for a TD, and the next, the patented Payton Manning 1 yard toss to the TE. Sigh...

Texans block FG at halftime buzzer and run it in for a TD to make it 17-0 except....

These are the Texans and these are the Steelers, so of course a Texan commits a worthless clip to nullify the TD and end the half at only 10-0 Texans. Blatant penalty - no way to not call it.

                            Incredible.

the Texans are doing everything in their power to keep the Steelers in the game. They've totally dominated them, but STOOPID penalties have nullified any advantage. The latest -- a blocked FG returned for a TD, but daniel manning blocks the kicker in the back (who would never have come close to making any tackle) on the return and that's that-- the half isn't extended. Loss of seven points!
