I don't think I'd expect him before September, even if he's throwing. At this point I'm not sure he can throw his stuff in the dryer without pain, so it'll be slow going.

I don't expect to see him by Sept. or really at all this year, but the point is, he is on track and progressing. Only he knows the level of pain he's in right now. Remember, he was throwing stll even after he was injured and they had to force him to stop. He strikes me as the type who wants to play no matter what. Hopefully the Nats will play it cool and do what is in his best interest so that he has a long history playing pro ball.

It's weird because of the year-long process, but I don't fear TJS guys longterm because of other successes.

Mid-August seems miraculous and maybe foolish.

Two starts in September? maybe

I'd nominate early in mixed non-keeper - someone or two will bite.

Like him a lot for 2012, though.
