  • Antonio Gates: Uh Oh...

Antonio Gates admitted he's considering resting for another 3-5 weeks so he can finish the season without interruption.
Gates will see specialists this week to determine his course of action. He tore the scar tissue that had built up in his right foot during the fourth quarter of the Week 2 loss to the Patriots. Now it's unclear if rest will even help, meaning he could end just endure the weekly pain and "cycle" of uncertainty. We should know more within the next couple days.

but your friend dont catch and if he dont catch then he's no friend of mine..........

McMichael would've been better than Gates (who I had in one league) and Jeff King (who I picked up for Gates)... He'll chip in a few receptions and yards. Besides, unless you have one of the top 5 or 6 TEs, anything you get out of 2nd and 3rd tier guys is frosting...

Looks like i'm going to be playing Chandler for awhile. Picked him up last week since both my TE's (Hernandez & Gates) were/are out.
