After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

      Picks:

Cincy +5. 6.5 seems a bit too much for Cleveland and these Bengals/Browns games are always close.

NE -7. I can't think of a single reason to pick Miami in this spot.

Tennessee +3. Luke McCown is the starting QB for Jacksonville, thats all I need to know.

Giants -3. I can't see how the Giants don't cover this number.

Philly -4.5. While the Rams are better than the 2010 version they fielded, Philly should have enough on the turf to win this one.

Seattle - divisional matchup and there's no way the 9ers offense has enough juice to go up a TD on anyone - ever - pick 'em
St Louis - Eagles are in a state of flux to start the year - Spags will be ready for Vick - this will come down to the kickers, which means less than 4.5 to me - Philly by 3
Indy - divisional matchup - tough to imagine Collins won't get a feel for the offense by the 4th quarter - just in time to score the garbage TD to ruin the spread - Texans by 7
"Igor, would you give me a hand with the bags?"
"Certainly. You take the blonde and I'll take the one in the turban!"

TB - I think the Lions are a little overrated and TB a little underrated. Line seems way too low
PHI - I think they're more explosive than that, especially on turf
NE - That's going to be a massacre
PIT - really, the Steelers are underdogs? I know they're on the road, but still...

Their skill players are. But only if the O-Line does what it is supposed to do, and I have no confidence in that at all. They are starting a guy they signed four days ago at RG.
