    welcome blacksox.

Fowler has great speed, a decent eye and hits fair amount of groundballs and line drives.Switch-hitter, hits right-handers and if he can make better contact (23.7 K% in 2010) youll see a nice bump in value. Looks like a 2 hitter that will get significant, if not full-time AB's. Also can be had for a lot less than Bourn, Pierre, etc.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

his steals success rate was atrocious last year. Seems like more of an athlete than a baseball player. Is 30 sbs a realistic expectation?

I expect the success rate to get better with experience. I am banking on around 25 steals but 30 is certainly within reach.

          Welcome.

If it was a new start and not a keeper, maybe he comes in around 200. In a keeper league I do not think so.

I would be careful about saying hits right-handers. He did okay with them last year, but in 2009, he was so bad he got platooned. He is much better against lefties, and with Spillbourghs sitting on the bench, there is a platoon danger.

The other good news about Fowler is he isn't completely powerless the way that Bourn and Pierre are. He won't hit a ton of homers but if you can get 12 homers from your speedster you're doing pretty good.
