  • superman renouncing his u.s. citizenship!

The key scene takes place in "The Incident," a short story in Action Comics #900 written by David S. Goyer with art by Miguel Sepulveda. In it, Superman consults with the President's national security advisor, who is incensed that Superman appeared in Tehran to non-violently support the protesters demonstrating against the Iranian regime, no doubt an analogue for the recent real-life protests in the Middle East. However, since Superman is viewed as an American icon in the DC Universe as well as our own, the Iranian government has construed his actions as the will of the American President, and indeed, an act of war.

Clark Kent is the way Superman views humans....
"You know what's wrong with America? If I lovingly tongue a woman's nipple in a movie, it gets an "NC-17" rating, if I chop it off with a machete, it's an "R". That's what's wrong with America, man...."--Dennis Hopper

"One should judge a man mainly from his depravities. Virtues can be faked. Depravities are real." -- Klaus Kinski

So he's renouncing his citizenship to help the US and avoid undermining US policy, yet I read that certain folks on the right are calling this grounds for a boycott of DC Comics.

Have you noticed that Superman has never produced his long form birth certificate?

I'm pretty sure Superman is an illegal alien. Did he even have a US citizenship to announce? Or does it vest automatically based on his adoption by US citizens?

he is a commie, plain and simple.....
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”
