    I came across an interesting blog about these - for those who don't know, they are apps basically like twitter but intended specifically for live streaming video - and the following quote jumped out at me ...

    Or, if you’re truly enterprising — and you’ve got the social media following — it’s only a matter of time before people start crowd-funding tickets by delivering streams from their seats.
    would you pay $0.50 to watch a stream of a game from row 1 just above a dugout? or to have several feeds that you could alternate between? we all know how tightly mlb controls it's product but this would be really hard to enforce.

    it's an interesting model to consider.

    It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
