  • Favorite American Muscle Cars from the 60's and 70's?

My kids have me watching Supernatural with them, and it features a sweet '67 Impala..... but my favorite 2 muscle cars from that era are the 1970 Chevelle SS, or a GTO from a few different years.

    What was your favorite?

BTW, I had a '69 Camaro RS...... loved that car... should have kept it.

My uncle's 1968 Camaro SS (not the actual car, since he drove it into a house about 4 months after he got it)...

This pic is from 1978, my brother's 1970 lime-green Challenger with the 440 Six-Pack. My brother on the right, his friend Perf on the left. Sold for around $2,000 a year later, today it's worth over $100,000, as my brother has never stopped moaning about for decades now.

While he scored chicks in that thing this is what I drove:

                    Not just a Pinto, but a brown Pinto. I did own a black-and-silver '81 Z-28 a few years later.

I wanted to buy a Chevelle SS when I was 18 and living at home.... my mom said if I bought it I had to move out, so I didn't..... it was $2500..... I have no idea what it would sell for today, but damn, it hurts thinking about it.

drove one of these for about 15 years (from as soon as i had my license, to almost the end of graduate school).

except it didn't have the cool white racing stripe.

I have had this for the last 12 years. It has 70K miles on it. I don't have any pictures of mine on this computer, but it looks just like this:
