    died today at age 70 after a battle with lung cancer. RIP.

    wow, I would have thought he'd have been older than that.; he sure had a classic voice.
    It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

            Joe Cocker was a favorite in my college dorm in the mid-Seventies. Anyone could sing as well as him, even when drunk. Few could SELL a song as well as he did in his late Sixties-early Seventies prime, though.
